		<description>Highest point on the line in Illinois?  I wouldn&#039;t have guessed (missed the 150&#039; elevation gain from Springfield to Champaign for instance), but I suppose so. I lived in Champaign, highest point of the IC line, from 1969 to 1981; and crossed the tracks every school day -- besides riding the &quot;City of New Orleans&quot; a few times to or from Chicago.  I had forgotten (if I was ever aware) that IC retired that cute mortar-and-pestle logo.</description>
